National Rifle Association Gives Jim Banks A+ Rating
FORT WAYNE, IN – The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRAVF) yesterday announced an A+ rating for State Senator Jim Banks, the group’s highest possible rating. According to the NRA-VF, “an A+ rating is reserved for legislators with not only an excellent voting record on all critical NRA issues, but who has also made a vigorous effort to promote and defend the Second Amendment.” This announcement comes on the heels of last month’s endorsement by the National Association for Gun Rights PAC.
NRA Chairman Chris Cox said, “Your leadership on Indiana’s “Castle Doctrine” and Handgun Possession bills demonstrates your commitment to protecting our God-given right to defend our homes from unlawful entry and the lawful carrying of handguns for self-defense.”
With nearly 5 million members, the National Rifle Association is the largest gun rights group in the world.
“I consider it an honor to defend the Second Amendment and protect Hoosiers God-given right to bear arms. In Congress, I will continue that fight and push back against the liberal, anti-gun agenda,” said Senator Jim Banks.
